[Deegan's mom]

So I written a thread asking about which grroming tools work best for getting out matts, and alot of you really helped me out.
Poor Deegan had a few matts around the side of his ribs and by his shoulders and one up on his chest. It took forever too get them all out, but we did and luckily I didn't have to cut any either. But poor little Deegan was not a happy camper. He whined, cried and struggled the whole entire time.
I felt like such a bad mommy for not brushing him better, but I know better now and will keep at it more often.
But to me it seems like his harness may be the cause of the majority of them. They seem to be where his harness sits on him. He usually does wear his harness quite often, but I am going to have him wear it less to see for sure if it is what is causing them. I just wondered if anyone else noticed matting around where the harness lays or is it just me being a bad, bad, mommy?
