I learned to crochet when I was very young and still keep up with it. Lately, I have decided to teach myself to knit as well because, as you know, some yarns just work better with knitting as do some patterns.

For those who do both, is it hard to take up knitting? Will my background in crocheting help or hurt? Also, I just plan on picking up a book at Hobby Lobby so if anyone has any recommendations I would appreciate it.
