The problems may be related. I've been concerned about it. It could be ammonium urate stones but she doesn't have symptoms for those.
The vet doesn't know. The numbers can only be up twice like this if there is a liver problem. If it isn't LS or MVD then I don't know.
The vet said we could just supplement her for another month and see what they do (it worked last time) but we are just pushing off the u/s really. She said if it was her dog she would do the u/s.
For those who don't understand a word of this, these numbers mean that Ellie could have a liver shunt and may require a very invasive surgery (probably out of state). It is very expensive. Hopefully it isn't htat though.
