My youngest is just like this as well at the moment. I'm hoping it is her puppy coat growing out.
The reason I think this is that I have a slightly older boy, he's 16 months now. When he was about 8 to 12 months, he went through the same thing, horrible little fluffy knots near the roots of his silky coat as it grew in. Even though I brushed him every day they just came back, especially on the side he used to sleep on. But now his coat has become beautifully silky & the brush just glides through with barely a knot to be seen, apart from an occassional one behind his ears or his elbows.
So I'm hoping that my little one is just going through the same transition. |
