Right..even if you aren't sure you'll be able to come yet but are thinking about it, you should go ahead an book a hotel room. You can always cancel it up to I think 24 hours before without any consequences. So go ahead and get your room booked so you're guaranteed a room in case you decide to go. You can always pay the actual registration fee later.
