Sound like my Maxi
He did the same thing, he still does it sometimes. He thought I am playing with him catch me if you can. He would go under the table and stick his head lol so I would ignore him right away. Sure he would come if I have a treat and he would even dance around lol. I defenately stopped playing chase me mommy game and was very patient with him. I would call him and would have hide the treat before he would see it. If he doesnt come out from the table I would nicely say come Maxi look what I have. Then sometimes I would have the treat and sometimes I dont and Maxi thought I would have it everytime
and come out.
