The people at the SPCA had no idea who posted on Craigslist or that it had even been posted! The first woman I spoke with denied having the dog and said that they did not euthanize.  Which is a blatant lie. Fortunately, the adoption rep realized that they did have the dog.
I was up this morning e-mailing every rescue I knew of (and Googling others) to try to save him. One lady turned me down because she was 4 hours away! She runs a rescue! Shouldn't they be willing to drive 4 hours for a dying animal?!? I know that I would have been willing to drive and get him just to make sure that he was okay.
