We were not able to turn the pup around, we had to turn it over...
The puppy was coming out on its side, back feet first...and as she delivered it, the puppy flipped so it was on its back. I really wish I could have set the camera somewhere so I could have recorded it...but did not think about that at the time..lol. So the puppy came breech, but the head would not come through the pelvis because it was upside down and its chin was getting stuck on the pelvis...so I filled a sterile 35 cc syringe with sterile lube and pulled her vulva back and filled all I could with the lube...my mom had the pup gripped with a small washcloth and was GENTLY turning the pup as I lubed...once the puppy was laying on its stomach again...she came right out nice and easy! Had we not done this at home we would have lost the puppy on the way to the vets as it was mostly delivered and the sack broke as it was partially delivered. I have to laugh though because when she came out she had a good inch or so of lube sitting on her head...roflol...it was funny...but we were so relieved she was out and screaming!
This was an easy yorkie delivery imo..lol..we have had our fair share of nightmares...this one was pretty good!
