I know that there are actual laws and health regulations that restaurants and grocery stores MUST follow or they'll be shut down. I would like to be able to eat inside with my dog but I know restaurants don't have the option of letting me because of the current health codes. However, more restaurants with outside dining need to allow dogs. If people are eating outside, they are already exposed to the elements, including bugs, birds, etc....so there is no point in not allowing a dog there. There are some restuarants that allow dogs on the patio, but I never understand why most don't allow them...I mean, we're OUTSIDE!
