Thanks guys for the info! The Bendryl did not do much for us but maybe I did not give it long enough to work. We tried the predisone shot at the end of the summer because it got soooooo bad and will NEVER EVER do that again. Scared me to death, I thought his Kidney's were going to shut down. He is itch all over not hot spots, and our groomer wants us to try Bee Pollen starting in Feb. She swears by it. Our Bichon has food allergy's AND is very allergic to grass. He never goes out without clothes on....they protect his belly from the grass and really helps.
Thanks about the chicken the NV instinct we have been eating is the chicken one, did not realize that could be an allergy culprit. I swear it sounds horrible but I did not put nearly the research or energy in what food I chose for my kids when they were babies......I feel soooooo sorry for my bichon (lick, slurp, scratch) I would try anything for him! |
