i don't have a Bichon but Layla had horrible allergies.. well still does... but we've just started to go chicken and grain free and she has really improved... her eyes still water from time to time but she doesn't not chew on her paws NEARLY as much... so you might want to try cutting out chicken too.. i know it can be a "popular" allergy.
