I have some now that are big time chewers. They have chewed 3 phone cords already. They kept unpluging the lamp behind the couch so we had to make it so they could not get to that. I am always telling them 'No, stop, don't chew on that!' They can do this right under you nose. We can't dare lay the cell phone on the end table by the couch because the minute you get up they find it and think it is a great chew toy. It is just like running after a bunch of toddlers. Just let them find a piece of paper and they can shred it into a million pieces. I try to leave plenty of cow ears and cow hooves around for them to chew on and that helps but they are so mischievous. These are 4 month old Yorkies....it does get better as they get older. I just love them. |
