This is how little we know, lol. We thought that if we went with DVD, the costs in the long run would be lower because we would be putting the stuff straight onto disc. If we went digital, we were worried that we'd constantly be buying memory cards AND dvd's to burn it on.
i have just used the memory that the camcorder came with! once i upload it on the computer i delete it off the camera and memory card... so its just on my computer until i put it on the disc. im sure it can get expensive if you've got alot of things you are putting on discs... but i bought a pack of dvds about a year ago when i got my camera and havent used them all yet.
