Did all their knowledge of this breed suddenly fly out the window because of this new DQ in the standard? I think some are forgetting how long it takes to grow a beautiful adult coat by DQing at only 12 months of age. Give me great movement, dead level toplines and then top it off with gorgeous shaded blue and tan silk.
I think most judges that have judged a long time and with the standard clarification judging will go as it has before in the past. Of course you'll have those judges that will not take the clarification into consideration. But again as I've stated many many times in this thread LOL....health, structure/movement, level top lines, good ear sets and good bites are more important to me than color but let me clarify myself I do try and obtain that dark steel blue but a medium blue is ok with me...
