We are just going to have to live with the DQ for another 5 years and deal with it the best way we can. Our standard does say a "dark" steel blue I don't have a problem with a judge DQ'ing a almost silver white yorkie at all but to DQ a puppy or young adult that is where my problem lies with the DQ. But I'll live with it for as long as I have too and concentrate on breeding to the breed standard as best as one can. But dying a coat is minimual to the other issues facing our breed.
