With you all being yorkie owners, I imagine some are breeders as well and I don't know if I should stay away from someone that does this. My sister has wanted a yorkie for as long as I can remember but they cost so much and my sister just can't pay the price that people ask for them. So, my daughter, my husband and I have decided to go in half and half and buy one for my sister when we get our income tax. We've already talked to my sister about this, at first we were going to surprise her with it, but then I decided to just tell her because I wanted to make double sure she is ready for the responsibility and that she hadn't changed her mind about having one. We've all been keeping an eye out for one and I found one I was kinda interested in for her, so, I called the lady up. In talking with her, she said the only reason she was asking more for the one was because it was smaller than the other one. A flag went up cause of what I read. So, my question is, is it right for a breeder to ask more for one because it's smaller than the others in the litter? Thanks in advance. |
Yep a lot of folks charge way more for the tinier babies. Sad that it's not about their lines, health.
I don't think it's right at all but in my searches I found that all over.
