I mix dry foods as well. Although I always have one food which I feed the largest amount, and just add a few nuggets of another for variety and taste. When I introduce a new food, I start off with just a few nuggets at a time. Mine seem to react to new foods so I go easy.
Right now I'm using Timberwolf Organics (Southwest Chicken & Herb), and I mix in a few Canidae and Merrick's in with it. Timberwolf is the first food I've found that they really eat with enthusiasm, so I'm sticking with it.
