They thought how cute for us to give the girls...never investigated the breed, health issues or training issues. It was a whim purchase. God help that poor pup.
If it's planned and you consider the situation your bringing them into then that is fine as a holiday gift but not a whim gift becasue they are cute or your passing a pet store.
Those girls have had time to bond already with the pup so it's unfair to remove him from the home. But then again I guess maybe it's better all around if he goes to a home where he will be loved, doted on and come first.
