 I just dont understand why!!!!
Maui was 5 weeks old and i lost her last night....she was so precious she was the pup i decided to keep from bellas litter and she crossed the rainbow bridge last night...She was fine yesterday morning and i came home to find her not nursing, no balance, no response. I gave her nutrical immediately nothing, i stimulated her to breathe and nothing.....she had a seizure and died right there in my hand. It was the most traumatic thing i have ever witnessed since i was so attached to her. She was a normal healthy pup before with no problems! i just dont get why it happened! its so frusterating i dont know how you breeders do it! i dont think i will be able to breed again for fear of losing a pup...its so tough. I talked to the vet and he seemed to think she just had a defect that hadnt been caught previously and it finally took its toll on her since she was so tiny. anyway she is in a better place now!
