hey guys, my girlfriend and i just got a 7 week old yorkie-poo and i just want to reassure myself, i guess. we've had her for 3 nights now and she hasn't really let us sleep due to crying/whining. another thing is that we try to keep her in the kitchen so if she has an accident its easy to clean. when she is in the kitchen and not at our center of attention she will whine/cry until we pick her up. i know we're suppose to let her do that until she stops, but our apartment complex doesn't allow dogs (i know! i should have told my g/f no!) so we have to keep her quiet. we're trying different options, i believe tonight we're going to try and keep her in our room. as far as letting her sleep w/ us i wouldn't mind except i toss around a lot in my sleep. we are both full-time students and we have to work, but one of us is pretty much always home, except a 2 hour period on monday,wednesday,friday, and i'm pretty sure she cries that whole time
. i guess i just wanted some help or some reassurance that its just the puppy stage
