Call Petco - see if they have Halo Spot's Stew for Dogs. This stuff is unreal. Smash up the veggies (yes they are whole peas, carrots, looks like people food) and just give a little at first. Some "wolf" it done immediately. There is also plenty of water in there too. When my poodle mix has tummy troubles she also wants the stuff a little warmed on the stove. Sheesh. But smashing the veggies and squishing it helps them to eat it better. Good luck.
