I was wondering if it'd be okay if I went ahead and changed my puppy's food as soon as he gets here. Evidently his breeder fed him "Purina" and so thats what my Mother-in-law is feeding him. I was thinking of starting him on Royal Canin maybe? Any other suggestions?
I'm pretty sure Purina is NOT the best puppy food out there
.He also eats very small amounts of it, and they have been adding to his water to stabilize his blood sugar. I think he may just not like it, and who could blame him? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of treats are best for young puppies?
