First of all, they shouldn't be able to come into your home without a search warrant. Second, I think it's rediculous that a city can tell you how many pets you can own as long as they are being taken care of and in good condition. That's like putting a limit on how many children someone can have. Until they do that, they shouldn't be allowed to put a limit on pets either. Bryan/College Station has a 4 pet limit in city limits but it's not really enforced that I know of...maybe it is if there are some complaints. They are in the process of rewriting animal control laws right now though in our city
