We got Max when he was 11 wks old and he's never chewed on anything other than his toys. Even those he doesn't really chew up or anything. He's still got the first toy we ever bought him (which was the day after we got him and he's almost 3 now). It was a little fuzzy frisbee type of thing that squeaks. It's STILL his favorite toy!
