my babies have slept with us since the 2nd night (it only took one night of crying and whining to "train us"
lol) and i never worry about squishing them...miss buffey sleeps at the top of my head on the pillow and bentley snuggles at our sides ... i wake up everytime they move so not too worried about rolling on top of them
