McKenzie went in at 8 am this morning to be spayed and have her baby teeth removed.
They called at 2:30 and told us the surgery went wonderfully and that she was resting, so I'm at ease with that, but I MISS my baby!
We can pick her up sometime around noon tomorrow, so I am on pins and needles and can hardly sleep!
She's my vocal one in the house and it's been so quiet without her-- my other 3 keep looking around for their little sis
She's such a timid girl around new people and dogs so I can imagine she's terrified right now. My husband took her in, because I just couldn't bear to see her little face all scared and I knew I'd never leave her there to get it done (which she needed to get it done).
She's got her favorite two toys and blankie, and food from home so i hope she's sleeping peacefully and isn't scared away from home tonight.
Gosh, I am such a baby -- I'm literally crying sitting here typing this!
