 Do Yorkies go bald? His topknot is gone!
Rex is 5 years old, and now his topknot is gone. Two years ago he had a thin, but fluffy, silvery tuft on top of his head. Now the hair on his head is short, smooth, and copper colored. His ears are short/smooth haired. He always had a VERY thin coat, but I never even noticed as his topknot wore away. He burrows under pillows and blankets to sleep. Could he be wearing it off? Is this just a natural progression? Since it changed colors, do you think his topknot will ever grow back? |
