Just walk up to someone with huge ears and say, "Did you know that those elephant ears of yours are recessive, making you homozygous recessive for those suckers! That means even if their mom has the prettiest little ears you've ever seen unless she's pure for those ears there's a 50/50 chance that your poor kid will get those honkers too!"
