Metacam comes in a few different mg/ml bottles. It is given ONCE a day. A syringe should come with the bottle and the syringe is dosed in lbs, not mls. the weight of your dog, rounded down is how much you give them. My dog is 4.5lbs so i would dose for a 4lb dog. HOWEVER, you should speak with your vet about what to give and if its needed for whatever problem your dog is having.
