When I was pregnant 18 years ago I used mothers friend every night all over my abdomen and I didn't get one stretch mark there, but I got them really bad on my hips and my upper thighs right under my butt (if I had only known that you could get stretch marks there too). I have tried a lot of things to fade them (coco butter, vit e, etc) and nothing but time has helped. They are barely noticable now.
I started using Stri-vectin on my face for fine lines and just to look better and it works great. It was origonally for stretch marks and the manufacturer handed out sample to the employees and they used them on their face because they didn't know that it was for stretch marks and they all raved about how it helped their skin look younger and brighter. So I wonder if it works so well for the face if it really works on stretch marks, what it was intended for. It couldn't hurt to try. It is a little expensive but it lasts for a long time. I love it for my face...lots of my friends and family started using it after they seen the difference in me. If it doesn't work for your stretch marks you could always try it on your face too...you wont be disappointed there. |
