Codie had the surgery 1 month after the vet diagnosed it. He advised me not to wait long because some dogs end up having their leg amputated. That is an extreme case but he said in the meantime, your dog is walking around in pain. He said it would improve the QUALITY of Codie's life and it's so true! Codie is SO much happier and energetic now! The operation and meds were a little over $1,000. But the price varies on location.
