Hi, your patience and consistency will pay off. Right now he is rather young and thinks he has to pipi frequently, but do get him checked for uti, just in case. Once they are 6 months and older they hold it a lot longer. I started using a bell hung on a key ring, on a string... you put this on the door, teach them to ring it everytime you take him outside, a treat may help. Also when he goes potty, give him a cheerio or small treat so he starts associating the good behavior gets the treat. When he goes inside, take him back outside and tell him pipi outside. I read somewhere that they are considered potty trained after 2 yrs. of age. Not sure. Trust me, consistency and patience pays off, Zander is almost 2 and doing really good.
Good luck.
