I wanted to say thanks to everyone at this site. I have to say good bye for now. Ive wanted a yorkie all my life and I was finally able to afford one in April 07. December 07 he went missing. My daughter was outside with him in the yard (fenced). She came inside to use the bathroom and when she went back outside he was gone. She was so distraught it took hours to calm her down. She feels so responsible for him going missing. We posted signs and called everywhere. She continually asks if we can get another one. I dont know when or if we will get another one. It had taken a long time to save enough $ to get him. It's just her and I and times are tough.. When I tell her this she says "oh...., but can we still get another puppy?" How do you explain this to an 8 year old? She is having a hard time with why people would steal a family member.

Hindsight...save for tattoos and microchips?
