I'm very allergic to cats but I am able to go to my friends house and it doesn't seem to bother me. My in laws however also have a cat and sometimes it bothers me at their house. I think the difference is that even though my friend has 2 cats, she has hardwood floors and is always cleaning. My inlaws have a neat house as well but they have carpeting in most of the house. I think the allergens tend to stick to carpets and furniture more so you might be able to help by changing those things. Also perhaps leather furniture versus fabric. Just my thoughts. |
