This is what this forum is for, to learn. In my defense I have a n experienced breeder helping me with the whelping process and will be with the whole time she is giving birth. BTW, I do not intend to sell these puppies to make a profit. In fact I am not selling any of them. One is going to our family friend. One is going to the stud's human mother and I am keeping the rest. (Granting that she has that many). Im asking for advice not something to bully me because you know more than I do.

I agree the statement was uncalled for, that's why I'm so hesitant to ask any questions on this forum re: breeding. I read a lot and I get the impression that some people think that only "professional" breeders should be allowed to breed. That's like saying only doctors should be allowed to have kids. This is why we turn to our vets and ask questions of those who have experience. I am very torn on whether to Breed my Bella (down the road) because I would love one of her pups but her health is my first concern and to be honest it's a huge responsibility that I do not take lightly and I need to be sure that I'm ready to take it on. I wish people would stop being so darn judgmental. Please know that not everyone on this site is like that. I wish you the best
