I don't know what to do!!

I wanted to start training Lexie to be in a crate when we got her a the begining of December and she kept FREAKING out when she was in there and she would poop all over! So I bought an x-pen and she learned out to escape within hours. Then I tried putting her in my bathroom and shutting the door but she would poop right away like she did in the crate but then she would drag it EVERYWHERE and it was a WAY worse mess than before.

So I'm trying the crate again. In the last 5 times she has been in there, she has spread poop from one end to the other 4 times.

What should I do!??!
