My Mother-in-law just bought me a little boy Yorkie puppy! Originally the plan for him to fly with my Dad out here as a carry-on but my dad's business trip has been canceled until late Summer. My in-laws live 3,500 miles away, and my family live 3,200 miles away, so driving to pick him up is not an option. Now the trouble is that the only choice we have is to ship him as cargo...and I feel HORRIBLE just thinking about doing that!

Has anyone here shipped their baby as cargo?

If so, what airline did you use and was it a bad experience?

Any additional trips about flying your pet?
