To an extent, I agree. Our dogs only know so much. They don't know the difference between today and Christmas Day; they wouldn't know why they were getting extra treats and new presents because it was Christmas.
Dogs are a great companion, but to me, that is what is defined as unconditional love - companionship.
But is still do feel that my little Pikko loves me the way a dog shows love. =)
