Have you guys seen this special on animal planet...it will debunk many of your ideas about your dog and why they do the things they do. For instance....it says they don't really "love" us, and when they roll over on their backs for you to rub the tummies, it's a sign of submission to you as the "alpha male" not love of the owner.
Everything is ruled by the pack mentality, so they say, and not the sentimentality we think we see.
