I can't believe how nervous I am. I've been a stay at home Mom for 10 years now. My youngest started full time gr. 1 this year. I'm going for a meeting this morning at 10:30 to find out about a PSW (Personal Support Worker) course. I just turned 40 December 15th so it's now or never. lol Can you tell I'm feeling old. lol Anyways, I'm having so many mixed emotions. I really want to do this but I'm so worried about leaving my kids. I don't want to miss anything.
My husband is totally supportive and thinks it's a good thing for me to do for myself and for my kids. He thinks they need to experience some time away from Mommy and I from them. I'm sure I will get used to it but for now the thought is freaking me out.
Anyone gone through a similar situation??? I would love to hear from you and how you got through it. Do you think I'm doing the right thing?
