Yes, you should take a look at a new vet in the area. One thing that is funny to me is that my Duncan at times cries to. His back right leg seems to be hurting him. He would play eat and such but when he wants some attention he limps and cries till we pick him up on our laps. You said that when you try to pick him up it hurts. Wow I would go see another vet and get x-rays on your baby it could be a sertain spot that he hits and then it starts to hurt and he remembers thats why he was scared of his bed.
