Some of you may have read a thread I posted a few days about about my neighbor complaining about Riley's barking while I'm not home. He complained two days in a row. Well I talked to my manager and she said if I get a total of 3 warnings from them then I have to either get rid of Riley or move out. I signed a 1 year lease and this building allows dogs. This is a 12 story building and there are TONS of people who own animals. Since this building allows dogs and it doesnt say anywhere in my lease that my pet cant bark, do they still have the right to evict me? I have only had this one person complain about Riley. I've talked to several people and they all said that the land lord doesnt have the right to evict me because of that. They do have the right to not renew my lease though. Anyone have and ideas about this. If he complains again, then I'm going to meet with a lawyer so I know exactly what they can do. TIA!!
