I have noticed a lot of people on this site use the RAW method which is not the route I want to go. Milo is currently on Natural Balance small bites wich he loves and my vet wants us to switch to a prescription dental food which I am not sure about. I love my vet and trust him 100% but after looking at the food I am very confusted. Any help is appreciated. |
I answered this in the other thread.
The prescription diets may work but they aren't necessary healthy all around. Ellie's vet (she is really into dentistry) never mentioned switching. I would stay with what you are feeding if you are happy with it. I prefer homecooked or premium quality canned though. The moisture is great for them but vets will usually push kibble...
Whatevery you do, it is important to brush.
