I had a 12 lb yorkie seen the 1st heat. But her 2nd heat cycle she didn't even bleed hardly. If you didn't have a boy dog around her you would have missed the heat cycle. That is the only way you knew she was in heat. So she might be one that isn't bleeding, even though the first times she did and you caught it.
