Dixie is almost 7 months old and weighs 2 lbs 2 ounces. I am feeding her one teaspoon every 4 hours, nightime included. When I was feeding her more she was throwing up so I backed her off a little. SHe feels like she has gained a tiny bit. She stopped eating her kibble so is only eating wet. She won't eat any treats either. She has advanced kidney failure so I think that is why she isn't eating so well. It sounds like you are feeding her enough, maybe your vet can help you determine what would be appropriate . Also has she been checked for worms? That can cause a round tummy in puppies. Hope some people respond who can help you better. |
