I believe parents instill in their children a love for animals, I know my parents did and when you read the article it really makes you think.
I also believe as animal lovers we need to know how our politicians feel about many of these issues and won't be swayed by the lobbiests after their own interests. If you remember the pets industry is over a 93 billion dollar business (reported in taxes) then you have to understand why laws are not changed and hugh industries continue to pump out puppies. We also as individuals have to continue to tell our courts that we will not tolerate a slap on the wrist for people who harm animals. We can make a difference.
