Human heating pads are fine as long as you keep them on the lowest setting and underneath the blankets or bedding. I used them with my females litter and it was fine.
Regardless of who let your dog out of her cage, the
owner of the grooming place is at fault,not the employees. Whether or not you want to do anything about it is up to you (and/or the crazy lady with the male thinking she is entitled to stud fees, etc.)
I can't help but wonder; how certain are you that it was Benny that she got PG from? Were there any other intact male dogs there at that time? Maybe the girls just said it was Benny.....just wondering. I know I'd want to be pretty positive of any possiblilites on who the daddy could have been.
Whatever the case, I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming litter....I'll be watching for the happy event!
