You may want to have your wee one scheduled for a cleaning...It is my understanding that yorkies over the age of 3 need their teeth professionally cleaned at least once a year.....

some are fortunate enough not to require this, but your vet MUST make that determination. Just like us, some Yorkies require more attention to their teeth and gums than others. I'm sure genetics plays a role, as well as diet, chewing habbits, etc.........just like us.

I would call your vet and see if this is a service they provide without anethesia, or if they can recommend someone for this service.
