No they don't have cotton coats.. They have tons of hair and I only have to brush once a week if then.. In the spring and fall when they change coats I have to run the mat comb though but that's it.. cotton coated dogs hair you can't keep any lenght at all it mats horrible... If they had that type of coat I'd not have 14 of them...!!!
