If you let nature take its course that would include not doing c-sections. About 20% of Yorkies need them so that means 20% of pregnant female Yorkies would likely die.
Yorkies take a lot of time and money to breed properly. Have you had your male and female tested for STDs, LP, LS, CT, hip, shoulder, eye and ear problems? Are their lines clear of LP, LS? Did your female come from a line of free whelpers?
